Welcome from the Director
Dear PreCollege Summer Immersion Program:
Founded in 1906, Pace University is a private institution of higher education with campuses in both New York City and Westchester County in the State of New York. The University comprises six schools/colleges ranging from arts and sciences to computer science, law, business, health professions, and education. Serving 13,600 students, the mission of the University is to provide a diverse and talented student body with the opportunity to receive a quality education.
As Director of Pace University’s PreCollege Immersion Program, it is my pleasure to play a part in the strong commitment Pace University has to its students. We are a university deeply committed to teaching and learning. Our historic motto is Opportunitas, which affirms our essential purpose and mission. Pace University is a place of opportunity for our students, not only to receive a high quality education but to discover their own unique gifts.
This groundbreaking program is a selective course of study designed for highly motivated and talented high school juniors and seniors eager to experience what college can be like academically, intellectually, and socially. Our dedicated faculty and staff have prepared the most interesting and challenging courses of study, courses designed to enrich the minds of prospective college students. This summer, we are offering four different disciplines in which students can "major" during the two weeks. All courses are taught by Pace University faculty.
All applicants should have at least a high school average of 85. Because of the success of this program, admission is competitive. If you have any questions email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Director, Summer Programs
