This course is approved for 7 Professional Development Credits (PDCs) toward SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP recertification.

This course will help you demystify the ADA, ADAA, FMLA and requirements to which an employer can be held responsible. At the conclusion of the webinar you will be able to discuss the ADA and ADAA, what conditions are covered, and which are excluded. You will also be able to discuss and have an understanding as to what a reasonable accommodation is, how it is arrived at, and what undue hardship can potentially be.

The course will be a full day in-person session, and will include the ADA statute and ADAAA. Course material will consist of a PowerPoint presentation that will be available, and include links to relevant resources.

Meet the Instructor

Raymond Rokicki Jr., MBA/HRM, PHR, SHRM-CP

Ray Rokicki Jr. currently works as the Director of Human Resources for The Oaks at Denville, a SpringPoint Senior Living Community. Immediately prior to the Oaks, Ray was the Senior HR Generalist for the NorthEast Region for Five Guys Enterprises. Ray has also worked in the telecommunications industry, including Apple, Flextronics, and SprintNextel in a variety of management roles. Ray has experience in the start up world having worked during the creation of Enhanced Wireless.
