Community Testing

Community Testing: Resumes Fall 2022

Students, staff, and faculty who are not fully vaccinated must test 3–5 days following their return to campus and then weekly as part of Pace’s COVID-19 Community Testing Program. If you are not fully vaccinated, participating in testing is a requirement in order to maintain access to campus and/or reside on campus. All members of the Pace Community, regardless of vaccination status, are able to participate in Pace’s community testing efforts.

Please Follow These 3 Easy Steps:

  1. Pick up a test kit from any campus on one of the days listed below.
  2. Self-administer your test the same day you plan to drop it off. Tests must be administered the same day they are turned in for collection. Be sure to follow the instructions in the test kit (PDF).
  3. Return your sample the same day you administer your test to an on-campus COVID-19 test collection site.

About the Test Kit

Each test kit includes one collection tube, one individually wrapped anterior nasal swab, and detailed instructions on how to self-swab. You will be instructed to self-swab according to the detailed instructions brochure contained in the kit and return the completed test to the drop off site within the same day of testing. Please note that these are the lower, less-invasive nasal swabs. The results will be available in the same rapid timeframe (48–72 hours). If You’ve Tested Positive in the Last 90 Days

You should not participate in the weekly testing if you have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 90 days. If you have been notified to participate in the weekly testing, but have tested positive in the past 90 days, please email covidcoordinator@pace.edu and upload your positive test results to the University Health Care's confidential Patient Portal. Do not submit any test results through email.
