CISCO Networking
The Seidenberg School is a certified Cisco Net Academy, meaning students can get hands-on, practical experience using Cisco devices like routers, servers, and other telecom devices.
Students can also receive free training via online courses that lead to the Certified Cisco Network Associate (CCNA) certification as well as other certifications. The CCNA certification is highly attractive to employers and will put you ahead of the rest when it comes to landing a telecommunications job.
Using tools like Cisco Packet Tracer, students can build virtual representations of networks and practice moving switches around to see the results. With access to physical routers and switches in the Cisco lab, students can build and deploy network simulations that mimic what’s used in industry by nearly all corporations. Students can use either their own laptop or Pace-supplied computers to access the courses offered and connect directly into routers and switches to program the devices.
For students completing the Cisco training program over the course of their studies at Seidenberg, their graduation certificate may include the CCNA certification logo to show to potential employers.
