High School Outreach
The Seidenberg School is committed to bringing STEM education to students long before they enter college. Understanding elements of computer science and engineering is increasingly critical in today’s technology driven world.
Through a series of initiatives, we aim to foster powerful relationships between high school students and science, technology, engineering, and math, whether doing so by providing their teachers with the tools needed to bring cybersecurity into the classroom or by showing them how to build mobile applications. Below are some of the programs we run, from summer camps and workshops to exciting competitions where scholarships can be won.
GenCyber is comprised of two summer programs. The GenCyber Teachers' Workshop helps teachers prepare to integrate cybersecurity concepts into their curricula. Camp CyberBot is a one week summer camp for high school students interested in learning cybersecurity techniques and methods.
