Welcome to the Division for Student Success (DSS)! DSS strives to ensure a smooth transition for undergraduate students while connecting them with innovative University services that foster a transformative student experience, resulting in high levels of student engagement, success and retention from Orientation through Commencement. This includes first-year experience programs; academic advising (including for those who are undecided about a major); Convocation; undergraduate student-faculty research; tutoring; academic coaching; mentoring initiatives; Women’s Empowerment Network; prestigious scholarship and fellowship opportunities; peer leadership; Challenge to Achievement at Pace (CAP) Program; sophomore engagement; and much more! Additionally, for students who are not sure where to turn for support or assistance of any kind, including any challenging academic, social and financial issues, our division is here to help! The Division for Student Success lays the foundation for a holistic, transformative undergraduate student experience through intentional and integrated advising, transition, academic support, engagement and enrichment programs.
The Division for Student Success provides a comprehensive suite of innovative advising, support tutoring and transition services/programs that contribute to an active, engaged and academically successful undergraduate student body, resulting in high levels of retention and college completion.
