Interested in courses that examine LGBTQ topics, history, and culture from a queer perspective? The new Queer Studies minor is organized around the insight that sexuality is at the center of the human experience, from the formation of the individual to the organization of diverse societies. Our courses examine the significance of same-sex desire or cross-gender identification throughout history, and across a variety of global cultures. Fall 2013 courses listed!
Want to declare the minor, or have questions about it? The minor can be declared starting in Spring 2012. Contact Dr. Nancy Reagin, chair of Women’s & Gender Studies at nreagin@pace.edu or just drop by the WGS office in Room 1502, 41 Park Row.

Do you need help paying for college? Who doesn't. Click here to check out scholarship opportunities at Pace and through outside organizations like the Point Foundation! Check out the Financial Aid office for more scholarship opportunities!
Safe Zone Training is an interactive and exploratory workshop that provides a foundation of knowledge to be an effective ally to Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Questioning (LGBTQ) students, faculty and staff. In the training, participants will become familiar with Pace policies and resources, learn terminology, confront stereotypes, explore the ways in which stereotypes are supported through institutional and cultural structures and develop personal and departmental ally action plans. The training is interactive and participants will have opportunities to share and learn from each other as well to ask questions throughout. Click here to register.
