40% of Lubin full-time faculty received their PhD or terminal degree from a school ranked in the top 10 American universities by US News & World Report, including Columbia, Harvard, Northwestern, New York University, Stanford, University of Chicago, University of Pennsylvania, and Yale.

20% of Lubin part-time faculty are top managers - President or CEO, Partner, Vice President, Director, or Chief Officer such as a COO.

Faculty members are noted scholars and respected practitioners with deep ties to the business community in New York and around the world. Their perspectives are as diverse as their experience and backgrounds. What they have in common is a devotion to teaching.

Acting as mentors both inside and outside the classroom, faculty members guide students in course work, research projects, and advise individuals on their academic program design and career objectives. They also continually regenerate our curriculum and forge forward-looking research partnerships with academic institutions throughout the world that advance knowledge, theory, and best practices.

A faculty that speaks from experience

The faculty of the Lubin School of Business brings a world of business experience into the classroom. In addition to prior experience, many full-time faculty members remain as consultants to prestigious corporate, professional, educational, and government organizations. Lubin students also draw upon the expertise of part-time faculty who currently work as professionals in the world's largest corporations and emerging entrepreneurial companies.

Of course, Pace provides students with the theoretical principles and models that give context to such practical experience. The full-time faculty in the Lubin School include many noted authors, theorists, and researchers. Our faculty are frequently quoted in the media and have had their work featured in such publications as The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. They have published articles in some of the world's most respected business journals, and they publish a wide array of books on topics ranging from the role of the internal auditor, to global marketing management, to strategic total quality management.

Small classes: No small benefit

Even though Pace business professors are professionally active, they are never too busy for their students. Because classes in the Lubin School are small, averaging 25 students, they provide a supportive environment for learning. Acting as mentors both inside and outside the classroom, Lubin faculty guide students in their progress with course work, special research projects, and extracurricular activities.

"Case-in-point of Lubin's emphasis on innovation and access is our Internet-based Executive MBA program. What is truly exceptional about this degree is its module-based format which allows students to focus on a particular subject area. For instance, I'm teaching a business strategy module in which student teams are creating a five-year business plan for an airline. They have virtually '24-7' access to professors who are seasoned consultants and extremely dedicated to helping their students navigate complex real-world issues."
Ellen Weisbord, PhD
