Parker Jenkins (he/him) is a New York based actor and playwright. Originally from North Carolina, he studied dramatic art and neuropsychology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill before moving to New York to pursue his master’s in acting at The Actors Studio Drama School. Recently, he has appeared in Flaccid with The Tank’s Love, Science, and Magic: New Plays from Emerging Playwrights, The Informer with The Actor’s Studio Drama School, and Thirteenth Night with New York Theatre Festival. As a playwright, his recent credits include The Edge of Tonight with Equity Library Theater of New York, for which he won “Best Play,” and What We Choose To Breathe with The Tank’s Love, Science, and Magic: New Plays from Emerging Playwrights. Anna Medley is a New York City based actor, dancer, singer, writer, and teacher originally from Louisville, KY. She received her BFA in Musical Theatre from Samford University in Birmingham, AL. She has worked in NYC at the American Theatre of Actors (Romance with Orion), Blank Page Theatre Company (Say Gay, Road Trip, There are No Diving Pools in Hell), New York Theatre Festival (Someone Has to Die, Reflection of a Shadow), and others. Favorite theatre credits include Theresa in Circle Mirror Transformation, Benjamin Franklin in 1776, and a self-produced Judy Garland Tribute Show. Lindsey Alterman is a New York based director. Recent productions include Reflection of a Shadow (NYTF), The Edge of Tonight (Equity Library Play Festival), and a staged reading of What Killed the Dinosaurs, written by ASDS' own Grayson May. As part of her MFA training Lindsey has been priveleged to direct a range of genres, from classic works (A Doll House) to musical theatre (Daddy Long Legs). She has also assistant directed off-Broadway, including the recent award-winning production Love Quirks at the AMT theatre. She is honored to be included in the 2024 ASDS Repertory Season. Grayson May is a playwright, poet, screenwriter, actor, director and producer from Orlando, Florida. In 2023, they produced The Tank one-act festival, Love, Science and Magic, where they also had their NYC playwriting, acting, and directing debut. What Killed the Dinosaurs, Grayson’s surrealistic full-length drama on generational trauma, was featured in the ASDS Class of 2024 MFA Playwrights’ Staged Reading Series. Their writing has been published in multiple journals and reviews, including Colorado Review, Cleveland Review of Books, Z Publishing House’s Emerging Writers Anthology, and Bacopa Review. They received a Certificate of Appreciation in 2018 for their four years of work as a lead actor and executive roleplaying trainer for the PTSD-prevention training program, Squad Overmatch Study. Grayson also founded Art Lab, a virtual venture that creates community events and media to unite LGBTQA+ artists of different disciplines. Grayson received their MA in Arts Management and Entrepreneurship from the New School of Performing Arts in 2021, and their BFA in Creative Writing with a minor in Philosophy and Religion from the University of the Arts in 2018.

Grayson writes epic, lyrical dramas and satires that elevate our humanity, in all its terror and sublimity. They place a special focus on writing characters that are queer, trans, and female, highlighting the people and performers that have been historically shadowed and sidelined.
