Pace University’s Master’s Degree Program in Nursing has been issued a Show Cause Directive by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, effective October 16, 2025. In accordance with CCNE’s Procedures for Accreditation of Baccalaureate and Graduate Nursing Programs, the master’s program remains accredited while on show cause.
PhD in Nursing are recognized by the New York State Education Department Office of the Professions.

Nutrition And Dietetics, MS
This two year, full-time coordinated Masters of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics program has been registered by the New York State Education Department (NYSED) and has been granted full accreditation by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND®). The program received 7-year initial accreditation in January 2022. The next onsite visit from ACEND® will be scheduled within academic year 2027–2028.
Graduates of the program will receive the verification statement required to sit for the Registered Dietician Nutritionist (RDN) credentialing exam.

Occupational Therapy, MS
The MSOT Program has been registered by the New York State Education Department (NYSED) and has been granted full accreditation by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE). The MSOT program received 7-year initial accreditation in August 2021. The next onsite visit from ACOTE will be scheduled within academic year 2027–2028.

Graduates of the program will be eligible to sit for the national certification examination for the occupational therapist administered by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). After successful completion of this exam, the individual will be an Occupational Therapist, Registered (OTR). In addition, all states require licensure in order to practice; however, state licenses are usually based on the results of the NBCOT Certification Examination. Note that a felony conviction may affect a graduate’s ability to sit for the NBCOT certification examination or attain state licensure.
Pace University-Lenox Hill Hospital Physician Assistant NYC
The Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant, Inc. (ARC-PA) has granted Accreditation-Continued status to the Pace University–Lenox Hill Hospital Physician Assistant Program sponsored by Pace University. Accreditation-Continued is an accreditation status granted when a currently accredited program is in compliance with the ARC-PA Standards.
Accreditation remains in effect until the program closes or withdraws from the accreditation process or until accreditation is withdrawn for failure to comply with the Standards. The approximate date for the next validation review of the program by the ARC-PA will be July 2033. The review date is contingent upon continued compliance with the Accreditation Standards and ARC-PA policy.
