Message from the Dean

Welcome to Pace University’s College of Health Professions, where you will find vibrant programs with exceptionally high first-time licensure and certification pass rates that lead to successful employment in your chosen healthcare field, and opportunities to pursue your degree while working with faculty researchers in health sciences including areas of health outcomes, equity and public policy, as well as clinical care.

Many of our programs are based on both Pace’s exciting New York City Campus in Lower Manhattan and our verdant 200-acre Pleasantville Campus in Westchester County, with others offering online and hybrid options, or a focus on one campus. Our faculty have international reputations in research as well as clinical practice, and our clinical affiliations and partnerships with leading hospital systems, urgent care, and other healthcare facilities ensure your preparation if you enter a clinical training program. This hands-on experience with patients meets or exceeds national accreditation standards and helps you gain the experience with future employers so you can quickly find a personally and professionally rewarding job after graduation.

Pace University is among the first in the nation among private non-profit universities for social mobility, and pursuing a degree at CHP is one of the surest routes to a promising future. We offer generous financial aid and support for all students. Our programs include undergraduate Nursing and accelerated Nursing (eligibility to sit for the RN exam), a public health minor and a Bachelor of Science in Health Science. Our graduate programs include Master’s degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders (eligibility for licensure as a speech-language pathologist), Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Family Nurse Practitioner, Occupational Therapy Nutrition and Dietetics (eligibility to sit registered dietician nutritionist exam), Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, a Doctor of Nursing Practice, a PhD in Nursing, as well as multiple advanced certificates.

Our Center for Excellence in Healthcare Simulation, located on both campuses, offers the latest in high fidelity clinical simulation technology in a multidisciplinary environment, designed to give you the confidence to succeed. Our faculty’s research and engagement in public health, social determinants of health, and innovation in healthcare, as well as collaborations with faculty throughout Pace University in economics, health informatics, health management and law, address the future of healthcare delivery, policy and health equity.
