Note from the director

Nancy Spear Owen, director of Healthcare Simulation at Pace University College of Health Professions
“Healthcare simulation is an experiential learning approach that plays a critical role in preparing students to respond confidently to clinical situations. Simulation encounters help students develop essential clinical competencies and communication skills that directly contribute to safer patient care. Through realistic, hands-on practice, learners can make clinical decisions, manage emergencies, and refine their teamwork—without exposing real patients to risk.”
