Thomas J. McShane Center

The Thomas J. McShane Center for Psychological Services is located at the Pace University New York City Campus. As the training clinic for a well-established psychology-training program accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA), our goal is to remove barriers to care, by providing high-quality, evidence-based treatments at an affordable rate to meet the needs of all community members.

Our psychologists-in-training provide individual and group therapy as well as assessment/testing services for adults, children, couples, and families.

The McShane Center serves as a training and research center for psychotherapy and diagnostics. Psychologists-in-training, under close supervision of licensed psychologists, use approaches validated by recent research and that are matched to meet the needs of the individual client.

The McShane Center offers the comforts of a small, people-oriented clinic, a low-fee, and the resources of an APA accredited clinical psychology program.

Benefits of the program include:

  • Confidential personalized services
  • Evidenced-informed psychological treatments
  • Supervision by licensed clinicians
  • Specialty clinics based on the latest research and community needs
  • Low-cost, sliding scale fees for therapy and assessment
