Take Courses Like…

Medical Pharmacology for Physician Assistants, where you will develop skills related to the principles of pharmacology; Pathophysiology 1 for Physician Assistants, which covers the pathophysiology of common disease conditions affecting humans using a lifespan approach from pediatrics to geriatrics; and Surgery for Physician Assistants, a course designed as an overview of basic surgical concepts, including the appropriate evaluation, diagnosis, pre-operative, intraoperative, and post-operative management of surgical patients.

Building upon the core competencies of the physician assistant profession, this curriculum exposes you to an interdisciplinary didactic and clinical curriculum. You’ll learn the process of critical thinking as it pertains to being an exemplary physician assistant, a skill fundamental to the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of illnesses. Add Opportunities and Experiences

Students in our program learn anatomy through the use of a virtual cadaver lab and practice their physical exam skills in our state-of-the-art Center for Excellence in Healthcare Simulation.
