In an effort to foster community engagement and provide free legal resources to seniors, Haub Law’s John Jay Legal Services Equal Justice America Disability Rights Clinic (“the Clinic”) recently participated in the Livable Communities Senior Village Fair, an event dedicated to the well-being and empowerment of our elder citizens. The Livable Communities Senior Village Fair is a community wide event that brings together older adults, their families, and local organizations.

The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University is proud to announce the selection of its second class of Sustainable Business Law Hub Student Scholars. The Sustainable Business Law Hub Student Scholars Program (“Hub Scholars Program”) was launched in early 2023 as a key component of the Sustainable Business Law Hub in creating the next generation of sustainable business and ESG (environmental, social and governance) lawyers. This year, five additional students have been selected to serve as Sustainable Business Law Hub Student Scholars (“Hub Scholars”) and will benefit from ESG internships and externships at prestigious law firms, financial institutions and businesses.

Unhappy in her job at the time, Eliana J. Cruz ’26 decided to study for the LSAT and apply to attend law school. “It was a long time coming, with each path my career took, I became more interested in the law. Finally, I decided to finally take a leap of faith. At the same time, I switched careers and became a paralegal. To me, it made sense that if I was working, I should work directly with attorneys while attending law school.”
