Featured Specialty Programs
Ranked #18 in the nation, our Dispute Resolution program offers students exceptional training in arbitration, mediation, negotiation, and client problem-solving. Through hands-on experiences in our clinics, as well as our leading Advocacy Program, students build the practical skills needed to excel as lawyers representing clients in alternative dispute resolution processes, and as neutrals.
Our #1 ranked Environmental Law Program has set the standard in environmental legal education since its founding in 1976. Our pioneering faculty and accomplished alumni lead and shape environmental law and policy in law firms, government agencies, nonprofits, corporations, and academic institutions across the country and around the world.
Our Criminal Law Program offers aspiring prosecutors, defense attorneys, and policy-makers comprehensive training—from first year Criminal Law to upper-level seminars and hands-on experiential opportunities including prosecution externships and a Criminal Justice Clinic. Supported by the Pace Criminal Justice Institute, a research center advocating for criminal justice reform with student input, these experiences prepare graduates to launch successful careers in the criminal legal system.
