Karen Michel is Assistant Dean and Registrar/Bursar at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University. In this role, she directs the administration of academic records, registration, scheduling, and student accounts, ensuring compliance with institutional and accreditation standards while providing exceptional support to students and faculty.

Karen joined Pace Haub Law in 2022 as Assistant Director of the Student Accessibility Services Department,working closely with students, faculty, and staff to ensure equitable access to academic resources. For several years prior, she worked as a Legal Fellow providing direct legal representation to low-income families in special education and school discipline cases. She brings to this new role extensive knowledge of student information systems, strong digital and organizational acumen, and a deep understanding of compliance, student advocacy, and institutional policy. Karen holds a Juris Doctor from Roger Williams University School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts from University of Albany in Sociology and Criminal Justice with a minor in Education. She is currently pursuing a Master of Higher Education Administration and Student Affairs from Pace University.
