After spending the last 35 years pursuing a career in finance, Todd Jacobson ’27 decided to switch gears and pursue a law degree. “After the COVID-19 pandemic, the potentially negative longer lasting consequences became abundantly clear – from educational outcomes to healthcare access, and more. I would like to pursue a career in public policy to work on these issues.”

The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University is pleased to announce that Gregory Antill, a criminal law and philosophy scholar, will join the faculty as an Assistant Professor of Law beginning in Fall 2025. Professor Antill will teach courses in criminal law and tort law while also supervising student scholarship and research projects in the advanced legal writing seminar.

The event was a celebration of the Trial Advocacy Program’s recent successes, the contributors who made it possible, and provided an opportunity for attendees to reconnect with colleagues, coaches, and classmates.

Professor Margot Pollans delivered the James D. Hopkins Memorial Lecture on Monday, April 21, on "Inundations: Pain, Bodies, and the Law." Dean Horace Anderson appointed Professor Pollans as the James D. Hopkins Professor of Law for the 2023–2025 term. During the holder's term, the James D. Hopkins Professor delivers a lecture that is open to the entire law school community and members of the public.
