Kiran Chahal
2025–2026 Pace | Haub Environmental Law Fellow

Kiran Chahal is currently pursuing an LL.M. in Environmental Law at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University and serves as the Pace | Haub Environmental Law Fellow for 2025–2026. Kiran has served in international and domestic legal and policy roles, including with the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) in Washington, D.C., Bangladesh, and Sub-Saharan Africa, and as an Assistant Attorney General for New York State. She has specialized experience in developing regional refugee resettlement strategies and protection frameworks for displaced populations in complex international contexts.
