Mission Statement

Consistent with Lubin's emphasis on the application of theory to practice in a globally diverse environment, the Department of Accounting has the dual mission of preparing undergraduate and graduate accounting students for the broad field of accountancy and helping to prepare other business students for their careers.

With an emphasis on ethical values, social responsibility, communication, and analytical and technological competencies, the department’s dedicated faculty apply rigorous academic standards, produce applied scholarship in the field, and serves both the academic and professional accounting communities.
