Branding & Marketing with Maeve Rothman

<p>Join us for a Lunch &amp; Learn with alumna Maeve Rothman, Director and Senior Counsel at Mastercard.</p> <p>After beginning her career in publishing with a focus on sales, licensing, and contracts, Maeve earned her J.D. from Elisabeth Haub School of Law in 2011. She has since served as in-house counsel for several international companies, including BIC Corporation and Nestl&#233; Waters, concentrating on commercial, marketing, and advertising law.</p> <p>For the past four years, Maeve has been part of Mastercard&#8217;s North American legal department, where she supports the Marketing and Sponsorship teams. She reviews and negotiates a wide range of agreements&#8212;including talent and sponsorship deals, influencer collaborations, media purchases, and agency contracts&#8212;while advising on advertising regulations, claim substantiation, and product packaging.</p> <p>Maeve is also active in the industry, serving on the ANA Legal Affairs Committee, co-chairing the regional ACC Marketing and Advertising Committee, and speaking on panels focused on marketing, licensing, and contract law.</p> <p><em>1 PD credit will be awarded for those who attend in person.</em></p> <p>Lunch will be provided.</p>
