October 2019: The Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems hosted their annual Cybersecurity Conference which broughtleaders and professionals from business, government, and academia to address the Economics of Cybersecurity in Healthcare.

September 2019: President Krislov announces that the construction of a new Student Veterans Center on Pace’s Pleasantville Campus will begin this winter with an expected completion in spring 2020. New York State Senator Peter Harckham announced a $200,000 grant to help get the center up and running.

September 2019: Pace’s Pleasantville Campus hosted its inaugural Communiversity Day, which brought members of the local community to campus where they could experience all that Pace has to offer. As part of Communiversity Day, the harris project hosted their annual CODA Walk.

September 2019: President Krislov shared his take on building relationships as higher education shifts to the digital realm in his latest Forbes column. Said Krislov: “Distance learning is mostly asynchronous, meaning that students and faculty can participate on their own time. But adding elements that happen at the same time—whether that’s an optional online group gathering or something as simple as virtual office hours—can create a strong sense of presence. So can optional low-residency experiences, where distance learners come to campus for short-term, face-to-face interactions.” Read the article.

August 2019:In President Krislov’s latest Forbes column, he explores the mental health crisis facing American college students. “Resilience, in its literal definition, means being able to withstand or quickly bounce back from challenging situations. In psychological terms, resilience means knowing how to react to adversity, trauma or stress. It means knowing how to acknowledge these roadblocks, address them and adapt to them. Building resilience means building an ability to bounce back from the things life throws at all of us. And it’s key for effective functioning as an adult—or as a college student.” Read the article.

July 2019: President Krislov attended NSA-funded GenCyber’s Camp Cryptobot on the Pleasantville Campus. The camp, for high school students, was run by Seidenberg’s Pauline Mosley, DPS, and featured drone flights, cyber-forensics, and team-building. Read the press release.

"It won't let admissions officers know if the student has overcome a major disability or illness," he said in a statement. "Or if the student has experienced a significant loss. June 2018: Honored to have been there for the ribbon-cutting at the new and expanded space for the Pace Women’s Justice Center, which provides free legal services to nearly 3,000 victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and elder abuse. Its new walk-in legal clinic will serve up to 500 more per year.
