Every Other Day

Every Other Day tells the story of Rick, child of divorced parents Randle and Michelle. When Rick is in kindergarten his parents split, only instead of him staying with his mom one week and his dad the next, he switched houses every other day.

This is for my senior thesis and is based on my childhood experiences. The staged reading is for children of divorce, people who feel torn physically and emotionally between spaces; for people learning to make choices for themselves and not for the sake of even splits.
