Biography

ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL ENGAGEMENT ACTIVITIES

Nicholas (Nick) Martucci is the General Manager and a Partner at Universal Attractions Agency (UAA), one of the most respected and longest-running talent agencies in the world. Representing legendary artists and overseeing offices in New York and Los Angeles, Martucci has guided the company’s continued expansion with responsibilities across every area of the business.

With more than two decades of experience in the music industry, he has worked with globally recognized talent including Flo Rida, George Clinton and Parliament-Funkadelic, José Feliciano, Ludacris, Mark McGrath, MC Hammer, Naughty by Nature, Rakim, Salt-N-Pepa, T.I., UB40, and Vanilla Ice. His leadership has also been central to the creation and success of UAA’s top-selling touring brands such as the I Love the 90s Tour and Pop 2000 Tour. Under his direction, UAA was nominated for Independent Booking Agency of the Year (Global) at the 2025 Pollstar Awards, recognizing excellence in artist representation and ethical business practice.

In higher education, Martucci serves as Clinical Assistant Professor and Director of the Arts and Entertainment Management (AEM) Program at Pace University’s Lubin School of Business. His work in academia combines his passions for creativity and business, teaching students to balance artistry, strategy, and professionalism in building sustainable careers. He designs courses around real-world case studies and hands-on projects and brings in guest speakers from across the entertainment industry, including agents, managers, promoters, and executives.

Martucci remains deeply engaged with the live entertainment industry to ensure his teaching and leadership stay relevant and professionally connected. He is a member of the National Independent Talent Organization (NITO), which advocates for independent agents, managers, and artists, and he uses this affiliation to create experiential learning opportunities for Pace AEM students. He also participates in leading conferences such as the International Entertainment Buyers Association (IEBA) and Pollstar Live, where he connects with talent representatives, promoters, and venue executives to stay current with industry trends, deal structures, and innovations in artist touring and live event management.

Through these ongoing professional activities, Martucci bridges classroom learning with real-world application, ensuring that the AEM program remains aligned with the evolving landscape of the entertainment business and continues to prepare students for meaningful careers in the arts.
