Stephanie Desiato

Biography

Adjunct Professor Stephanie Desiato teaches Principles of Legal Analysis, a course for second-year law students, and supports the Supplemental Bar Skills Program. As Associate Director of Academic Success at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law, Professor Desiato works with students to strengthen core law school skills through workshops and individualized guidance. Previously, she held the role of Director of Student Services and Residential Life.

Professor Desiato also serves as Director of Community Engagement and Belonging, where she collaborates on initiatives that strengthen inclusion and foster a strong sense of belonging across the Law School community. In this role, Professor Desiato works closely with student organizations and campus departments to support professional development, promote equitable learning environments, and advance programs that enhance community engagement. She also collaborates with Law School leadership and the University’s Division of Opportunity and Institutional Excellence to help strengthen policies, procedures, and initiatives that support all members of the community.

Professor Desiato graduated cum laude from Pace Haub Law in 2009. As a student, she served as President of the Student Bar Association, Justice of Phi Alpha Delta, and a Dean’s Scholar in the Academic Success Program. She also represented Pace Haub Law in several mock trial competitions at the regional and national level and has coached teams for client counseling and arbitration competitions.
