• We will accept pre-requisite courses taken on a Pass/Fail grading system for coursework completed in the Spring 2020 and Summer 2020 semesters only. Please include your College/University’s policy on Covid-19 Pass/Fail courses.

  • A pre-requisite course taken on the Pass/Fail grading system that received a Failing grade will not be considered as your one course below a B- and should be retaken. That course must be repeated to earn a Passing grade prior to March 31, 2021 in order to be considered for admission to our program.

  • We will accept all coursework completed remotely (on-line), including laboratory coursework, that was taken in Spring 2020 and Summer 2020.

  • We require three letters of reference, one of which must be from a healthcare professional (PA, MD, DO).

  • Yes, once we receive your verified CASPA application, your application will be reviewed according to our usual assessment process.

  • Given the evolving situation related to the pandemic, we will await advisement from the Governor of New York and the President of the University as to how we will proceed with interviews this coming cycle.

The Pace University Physician Assistant Program - Pleasantville offers students from diverse backgrounds a rigorous course of study designed to prepare them for future roles as compassionate, ethical primary care providers in a wide variety of clinical settings. Building upon the core competencies of the physician assistant profession, this curriculum exposes students to an interdisciplinary didactic and clinical curriculum. Students learn the process of critical thinking, a skill fundamental to the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of illnesses.

This primary care program spans 27 months and includes 66 credits of didactic education and 36 credits of clinical education. The total program includes eight required clinical clerkships plus one elective. The program is 102 credits leading to a degree in Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. The average cohort size is 40 students.
