Join the new Kappa Rho chapter of Gamma Sigma Epsilon, the National Chemistry Honor Society, for a kickoff event exploring research, academic development, and student leadership at Pace.</p> <p>Hear a faculty advisor and organic chemistry professor discuss what faculty look for in prospective student researchers, how to approach professors, and how to prepare for research opportunities. A senior student researcher will share how they got started, what research is like, and what they wish they had known earlier.</p> <p>The chapter&#8217;s student leaders will introduce Gamma Sigma Epsilon and their vision for building a supportive chemistry community. Together, the speakers will discuss practical steps students can take from freshman through senior year to explore their interests and prepare for future academic and career opportunities.</p> <p>Bring your questions for an interactive Q&amp;A and learn how to get involved in upcoming activities, contribute to the chapter, and prepare for future leadership opportunities.
