Cavika Prashad is a student aide for the Pforzheimer Honors College. She is a senior Economics major with a Pre-law minor. On campus, Cavika works closely in the Honors college as both an Honors mentor and Co-Director of the Honors Advisory Board. Additionally, she is captain of the Bollywood Fusion Dance Team, called Shakti. In her spare time, Cavika volunteers for New York Cares all around the city, working for different projects to help those in need. On Sunday’s, Cavika is glued to the TV for each Sunday Night Football game. Being Boston born she is a proud New England Patriots fan, who supports the Giants over the Jets any day. When she is not watching football, studying, or working, you can find her roaming the streets of New York looking for anywhere new to explore or any new restaurants to try out. She hopes to be a lawyer, fighting for what is right and trying to make the world a better place, in whatever way she can.
