This panel will discuss both traditional and evolving cyber threats to financial services and their infrastructure. The cyber threat landscape evolves with the changes in technologies that are used to provide financial services, including:

- Information systems used to process the transactions
- Mechanisms used to secure the information in the transactions
- Applications that interact with the stakeholders.
In addition, newer cyber threats also emerge from digital assets such as cryptocurrencies and decentralized finance ecosystems. More recently, the use of Generative AI adds another layer of risk to financial services.
To avoid exploitation by malicious actors, financial institutions will need to understand the risks and strategies for preventing and mitigating them. The panel will also discuss these potential strategies from technologists' perspectives.
