Biography
ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL ENGAGEMENT ACTIVITIES
Donghwi (Josh) Seo is an Assistant Professor of Management at the Lubin School of Business, Pace University. His research lies at the intersection of strategic management, human capital, technology innovation, and entrepreneurship, with a particular focus on how organizations learn, adapt, and innovate under conditions of uncertainty and institutional pressure. His work has been published in leading journals such as Strategic Management Journal, Business Strategy and Environment, and International Journal of Project Management. His research has been recognized with the Dean’s Research Excellence Award at Pace University and is regularly presented at major international conferences such as the Academy of Management Annual Meeting.
Professor Seo teaches undergraduate, MBA, and doctoral-level courses in management, international management, business strategy, and strategic analysis, emphasizing analytical rigor, global perspectives, and the application of theory to real-world organizational challenges. At the doctoral level, he mentors students in strategy research and publication development.
In terms of service, Professor Seo serves as Director of the International Management Program at Pace University and Chair of the Lubin Research Seminar Series. He is an active reviewer for several leading journals and professional associations, reflecting his commitment to advancing the broader scholarly community.
