Erich Andreas Drotleff

Biography

Erich Drotleff is a California-licensed attorney and New York-registered in-house counsel. He is a corporate generalist with extensive healthcare knowledge and expertise; including Privacy and Compliance. Currently, he is Senior Counsel, Office of the General Counsel for VSP Global, where he supports, counsels and guides the company’s senior leadership regarding its various lines of business ensuring continued company growth and profitability, minimizing business risk, and ensuring legal and regulatory compliance. He also serves as a pro bono mentor at Legal Outreach, a not-for-profit organization that prepares urban youth from underserved communities in New York City to compete in high academic levels by using intensive legal and educational programs to facilitate the pursuit of higher education.

Erich is currently an active member of the Association of Corporate Counsel and previously served as a Board Member for the New York City Chapter of the ACC.

Erich holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, San Diego, a Master’s in Public Health from San Diego State University, and his Juris Doctorate from California Western School of Law with an emphasis in health law.

Erich is the author of The Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Benefit: Who Wins and Who Loses? Marquette Elder's Advisor, October 2006, as well as Battling the Opioid Epidemic: A Legislative Update, ACC Docket, October 2017.
