Biography
ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL ENGAGEMENT ACTIVITIES
Uzoamaka Anakwe is an Associate Professor of Management in the Lubin School of Business at Pace University. She holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from Drexel University. She also earned an MBA in International Business and Finance from Dalhousie University, Canada. Her publications reflect a balanced scholar with publications validating strong empirical research as well as teaching pedagogy.
Dr. Anakwe has several journal articles and conference proceedings. She has presented at national and international conferences. Her current research interests encompass examining information technology implementation, conflict management, distance learning, and knowledge management within a multicultural context. She is further exploring the nexus of AI and knowledge management within an international-multicultural context.
With over 20 years teaching experience, Dr. Anakwe has taught courses in the areas of managerial theory and skills, human resource management, organizational behavior, international management, and business and society. She draws upon her parallel involvement in a healthcare establishment, as well as leadership positions in a non-profit women organization to enrich delivery of information to her students. Her direct involvement and management of international construction projects contribute to a wealth of varied examples for the various classes. Classes are run from an open system perspective, which allows for a dynamic approach and justification to relate all the external and internal trends to the functioning of organizations.
