New York First Year Family Orientation Program

Orientation Program

Your student isn’t the only one starting a new adventure—this is a big transition for you, too! Setter Supporter (Parent, Guest and Family) Orientation is your chance to experience Pace firsthand, connect with the Pace Community, and gain valuable insights into what life will be like for your student.

Day 1

  • 1 Pace Plaza

  • Gym, C - Level West Side

  • Student Center, 1st Floor

    Discover academic requirements and services that will support your student's academic success and encourage development through integrated curricular and co-curricular activities, also referred to as the "Pace Path"

     

  • Administrators at Pace will discuss the community of care that supports students in pursuing a safe and healthy lifestyle through personal safety and overall well-being

  • Gym, C - Level West Side

    Pace Path Fair will be held on the 1st Floor, 1 Pace Plaza

  • 15 Beekman Bianco, 3rd floor

    There are a variety of costs involved and important steps to take related to financial matters in college. We want to make sure you are well-informed, submit appropriate documents, and meet all deadlines for Financial Aid and Student Accounts

  • 15 Beekman Bianco, 3rd floor

    Here is an opportunity to interact with current students, hear their perspectives, and ask questions about their diverse experiences at Pace

  • In 15 Beekman Community Room on the 3 Floor of Bianco, that space will be available if any work emergencies come up and you need to take a phone call or zoom

  • 15 Beekman Bianco, 3rd floor

    Parents may have questions about making the transition successful. This is an opportunity to interact with current faculty and staff who have children in college to gain their perspectives and ask questions about their experiences.

Day 2

    NOTE: This session is only for parents of Pforzheimer Honors College students

    Meet with staff members from the Honors College to learn about your student’s experience in their program

Student & Family opportunities following the scheduled program:

  • Visit Auxiliary Services, 161 William 1st Floor: Questions about meal plan upgrades, refund preferences, and the BankMobile Card.
  • Visit the Pace University Campus Store, 1 Pace Plaza, 1st Floor West: Open
    Thursday 10 a.m.–4 p.m. and Friday 10 a.m. –3 p.m. Pick up some Pace gear!
