Office of Civil Rights Compliance
Support, Guidance, and Resources
The Office of Civil Rights Compliance (OCRC) is dedicated to fostering a campus environment where all community members have equal access to academic and professional opportunities, free from harassment and discrimination. OCRC is responsible for ensuring the University complies with Title VI, Title VII, and Title IX, ADA/504 as well as other federal, state, and local civil rights laws that prohibit discrimination and harassment. For assistance or inquiries, you can call (212) 346-1310 or email OCRC@pace.edu.
OCRC is located on the NYC campus at 41 Park Row, 9th floor, and on the Pleasantville campus in Elm Hall, Office 133A.
What is Title VI and Title IX?
Title IX and Title VI are federal civil rights laws that prohibit discrimination in federally funded educational programs. Title IX addresses sex-based discrimination, while Title VI addresses discrimination based on race, color, and national origin. Together, they help promote equal access to opportunities and foster an inclusive, equitable campus environment for all.
