Make a Report
Individuals can Report an Incident to the Office of Civil Rights Compliance via the University's Reporting System.
Should an individual wish to speak with Bernard Dufresne, the Assistant Vice President of the Office of Civil Rights Compliance and Title IX/Title VI Coordinator, regarding an incident, they can send an email to OCRC@pace.edu, or to Bernard at bdufresne@pace.edu or call the office at (212) 346-1310.
Reporting to Law Enforcement
Members of the University community who believe that they have been subjected to Sex-Based Misconduct are encouraged to report such incidents to the University and, where applicable, to local law enforcement.
How do I report something anonymously to the Office of Civil Rights Compliance?
The University's Reporting System allows you to submit your report anonymously.
Make sure that you are using an incognito window. Visit the Anonymous Reporting Instructions to access step by step instructions on how to report anonymously.
- Any issues regarding anonymous reporting, you can contact the Office of Community Standards at OCS@pace.edu for further assistance.
- Without identifying information, the University may not be able to provide supportive measures or conduct certain aspects of an investigation.
Support Remains Available Regardless of Participation:
The Office of Civil Rights Compliance remains available to provide:
- Supportive measures
- Referrals to resources
- Safety planning
- Guidance on reporting options
These services are available regardless of whether a Complainant chooses to participate in an investigation or resolution process.
What happens when a case is reported to the Office of Civil Rights Compliance?
After a report has been filed, the Office of Civil Rights Compliance will review the incident report and reach out to you by email to discuss your concerns and discuss resources, options for support, and case resolution options. Some of those include supportive measures, informal resolution, and the grievance process.
