Media, Race, Gender WBNA

MCVA Booth Review interns will examine the intersection of race, gender and media representation in the WNBA in a panel presentation format.  As one of the most diverse professional sports leagues in the U.S., the WNBA is an ideal avenue for exploring how female athletes, queer athletes and athletes of color are portrayed in sports media. Information will be shared via slide show and an interactive panel discussion with Pace student athletes.  The panel is designed to engage the audience by asking direct questions.
