On April 22, 2022, more than 60 Pace students visited the TODAY Show set to break the Guinness Book World Record for Most Plants Watered Simultaneously in celebration of Earth Day.

A new cohort of leaders at Pace’s School of Performing Arts is embracing change and continuing to enable students’ professional success—all while guiding the way toward a more equitable arts community.

For more than 30 years, Sabrina A. Griffin's career focus has centered on promoting diversity and inclusion through corporate ranks. She's bringing this experience to her new role as the first-ever Leadership Council Chair of the new Pace University Alumni Association.

School of Education's Lauren Birney, EdD, is co-leading a powerhouse group of collaborators to build upon the New York Harbor School’s project to put science into the hands (quite literally) of middle school students in low-income neighborhoods.

Rhonda Miller, head of Pace’s BFA in Commercial Dance, wanted to build a different kind of dance program. “I wanted it to be relevant and useful—to include all forms of dance and the practical business skills dancers need but so often don’t have. We’re giving students the tools they need to navigate show business and make a living in dance.”

Dyson Biology Professor Melissa Grigione, PhD, has spent her career traveling all around the world to better understand a wide range of animal populations. She's now passing on what she's learned to the next generation.

In spite of the pandemic, Pace is marching ahead. With the continued transformation of the NYC Campus, new interdisciplinary academic programs, and a bright look to the future, Pace continues to thrive.
