Natalie Lara ’25 is a first generation Mexican American whose parents both came to the United States as young adults. Natalie was the first in her entire extended family to attend undergraduate school and now is the first to attend law school.

It was 4L Ellie Taranto’s own personal journey that inspired her to pursue a career in law.

Psychology student Stephanie Spruck '25 serves as the student wellness coordinator at Pace's Pleasantville campus, actively contributing to mental health initiatives and mentoring through RADical Hope.

Serving as a peer leader, resident assistant, and volunteer, Psychology major Charlotte MacNeal's diverse experiences and mentorship roles have shaped her journey. With internships in MedTech and impactful research on intergenerational trauma, she credits the supportive faculty and plans to pursue a career in consulting for MedTech companies upon graduation, offering insightful advice to current students.

Dyson faculty members Matthew Bolton, PhD, and Emily Welty, PhD, are at the forefront of nuclear disarmament advocacy on a local and global scale. As the founders of the Pace Disarmament Institute, they welcome the many students who express interest in their work to get involved through internships, activism, and speaking opportunities.

Twenty students from Pace’s Haub School of Law and Dyson College embarked on a profound interdisciplinary field study to Alabama alongside the Equal Justice Initiative, looking into history to understand its impact on the present and actively seek ways to eliminate injustice and inequality.

Through a Provost’s Office Summer Research Grant, Lulu Moquete ’24, Mathematics, guided by her faculty mentor Emilio Fernández, PhD, stepped out of her academic comfort zone to analyze the cultural and sociological effects of colonialism on the Dominican diaspora.
