In 1906, with a $600 loan and a single rented classroom on Park Row, Homer Pace launched an entrepreneurial idea that would become a model for the future of higher education.

The Women’s Association of Law Students (WALS) at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University hosted its annual Pioneer of Justice and Equality Award ceremony on March 18, 2026, recognizing Cindy Kanusher, Esq., Executive Director of the Pace Women’s Justice Center, as this year’s honoree.

Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University’s Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Team earned top honors at the New York Law School NIL and College Sports Negotiation Competition, held March 7–8, with one Pace Haub Law team winning the championship and the other finishing as runner-up.

Congratulations to Elisabeth Haub School of Law’s ADR Mediation Team on an outstanding performance at the Client Counseling Competition. This unique competition centered on legal challenges arising from artificial intelligence and emerging technologies. Ultimately, the Pace Haub Law team, Melanie Mahoney (3L), Lana Hubbs (3L), and Zella Ertl (2L), finished as Semi-Finalists.
