On November 1, the Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems gathered to celebrate Diwali at Pace University.

Growing up in a first-generation Italian household, 3L Stella Capparelli learned perseverance and grit from her parents, who immigrated from Italy. From an early age, she understood that not everyone has the opportunity to attend college or law school, and she was determined to make the most of the opportunities she had.

The Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems recently brought together web technology pioneers for an exciting meetup on the future of front-end frameworks.

The MSOT 2025 cohort took a field trip to Family of Kidz Sensory Gym in Harrison, NY, as part of their Pediatric course. The students learned about sensory integration in lecture and then participated in experiential learning to reinforce concepts and practice skills. This is learning. This is fun. Layne Davis ‘25, Peace and Justice Studies, Political Science, delivered a statement on October 16 to the United Nations General Assembly First Committee, which considers issues of disarmament and international security. The statement called for greater engagement in youth inclusion and disarmament education.

LLM student Samuel Fonseca de Carvalho has emerged victorious in the SUAD YOUTH COP competition, a prestigious global mock negotiation of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).

Twenty-two Pace University students have been selected for the highly competitive United Nations Academic Impact-Millennium Fellowship Class of 2024, including 12 students from Dyson College of Arts and Sciences. They represent only 5 percent of more than 52,000 applications accepted from students at 6,000 colleges and universities in 48 nations.
