Pace University’s Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems is launching a new artificial intelligence (AI) lab at its New York City campus.

The lab will be housed in the brand new, cutting-edge building at 15 Beekman, the dedicated home for Seidenberg. It aims to serve as the central hub of AI for the Pace community, offering training and opportunities to learn, grow, and collaborate for students, faculty, and staff

The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University hosted an advanced screening of a new documentary, “How to Sue the Klan,” attended by a packed auditorium of students, faculty, staff and members of the community. The film, inspired by a groundbreaking civil case in 1980 led by Professor Randolph McLaughlin, along with Adjunct Professor Betty Lewis, tells the story of five black women shot in Chattanooga, Tennessee by Ku Klux Klansmen.

The Jeffrey G. Miller National Environmental Law Moot Court Competition (NELMCC), one of the nation’s largest interschool moot court competitions, returned in person for the first time in four years, bringing together hundreds of law students and attorney judges to the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University’s Westchester campus.

Elisabeth Haub School of Law Dean Horace E. Anderson Jr. was honored at Westchester County’s annual 2024 Trailblazers Awards Ceremony last week for his professional accomplishments and community efforts. “Trailblazers: Preserving our Legacy” was hosted live at the Gateway Center at SUNY Westchester Community College, as part of the County’s Black History Month celebration.

The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University is pleased to announce that Hon. James L. Hyer has joined its Board of Visitors. Judge Hyer is an elected New York State Supreme Court Justice in the Ninth Judicial District and a distinguished Haub Law alumnus from the class of 2005.

Pace University was recently awarded $350,000 from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) to advance experiential learning in humanities courses in partnership with cultural and service organizations in New York City. As a result, Pace University will serve as a central hub for humanities while showcasing its leadership in experiential education.

Over 20 students, professors, and administrators from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law and Dyson College of Arts and Sciences at Pace University spent four days during their winter break in Montgomery and Birmingham, Alabama, visiting the offices of the Equal Justice Initiative (EJI) and several historical sites for an intense interdisciplinary civil rights field study.

Pace University Art Gallery is pleased to present Journey Illustrated, a comic arts exhibition curated by Prof. Tommy Nguyen and Anna Zhang ’24. The exhibit opens with a reception on Tuesday, February 13 from 5:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m.

New York State Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins and members of the Westchester state delegation on Tuesday honored Pace University's women's lacrosse team at the New York State Capitol.

The team was recognized for their extraordinary season that culminated with the 2023 Division II National Championship, which marked the first time a school from Westchester County won a national title. The celebration at the Capitol precedes the upcoming NCAA Championship Ring Ceremony scheduled for Friday, adding to the festivities surrounding the team's historic achievement.

Dyson College of Arts and Sciences Advisory Board Member and alumnus Paul Ryan ’86, Literature and Communications, was named the executive producer for NBC’s long-running news show Dateline. In this role, Ryan will oversee the broadcast, streaming, and podcast entities associated with the brand.
