For many Public Accounting students, landing an internship at a Big Four firm is a dream. Lubin School of Business student Meaghan Petrie '22 turned that dream into a reality after attending a Career Services event. Now, she's planning on graduating early this December in order to kickstart her career as soon as possible.
Lubin students Angelina Bellucci and Nikol Taba Montoya are among the 17 Pace students selected for the prestigious and highly competitive United Nations Academic Impact and MCN Millennium Fellowship.
"Subscription-based services," says Larry Chiagouris, a professor of marketing at Pace University, "tend to be premium priced, because they save people time. But if people don't have the money to pay for the savings in time ...They're going to do some of these things for themselves."
After graduating from Pace University in the spring, Public Accounting graduate Maria Savino '22 learned she passed the final part of the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Exam. In the fall, she'll join the team at KPMG, a Big Four accounting firm.
Joe Esner '22 is all about finding and capitalizing on opportunities to make his dreams come true. When he saw the opportunity to apply for an internship with Deloitte, he capitalized on it by taking advantage of the Lubin School of Business's resources to eventually land the position.
When Lubin graduate student Vaishali Dulani '23 started exploring the business world, she had no idea what aspect of the industry she wanted to pursue. After connecting with Career Services and landing her dream internship at a start-up, she discovered her passion for digital marketing.
