Biography

As a registered professional nurse, I have over 40 years of clinical and educational experience. At Pace University, in the College of Health Professions, I teach in the undergraduate nursing programs. My leadership positions include co-director of Undergraduate Simulation, program director for the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program, and current chair of the Undergraduate Nursing Department. My areas of research include educational assessment, interprofessional education, human patient simulation, and critical thinking.

Before coming to Pace University in 2010, I practiced at the New York University Student Health Center, in the Urgent Care Unit, providing direct patient care and education to the university community. Prior to that, I worked in critical care at Lenox Hill Hospital for 22 years in several units including cardiac care, telemetry, interventional cardiology, and the emergency department.

“We have dynamic faculty in the Lienhard School of Nursing who are dedicated to ensure the student's success in our nursing programs.”
