Financial Aid

Financial aid for the Summer sessions is based on a student's eligibility for the previous year. Therefore, students interested in receiving financial aid for Summer 2021 must have filed the 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). If you have not completed these FAFSAs, you can file it online at the FAFSA web site. Please note that the estimated time frame for processing online applications is approximately 2-3 weeks.

Summer Federal Financial Aid

Students interested in aid for the summer must also file the Pace University's Application for Summer Federal Financial Aid  found on the Financial Aid's Forms and Applications webpage. We advise you to submit all required documents, and register before March 22, 2021 to guarantee financial aid availability for the payment dates. Students must be enrolled in a combined minimum of six (6) credits for Early Summer, Summer I, Summer II or Late Summer in order to receive financial aid for Summer.

Please note that the utilization of student loan borrowing and any other federal financial aid for the summer may reduce your federal financial aid during the following academic year. Please contact the financial aid office to discuss strategies for stretching your federal financial aid across summer, fall, and spring semesters.

Students may be eligible for Federal Pell Grants, Federal Direct Loans, and Federal Work Study during the summer sessions. University scholarships, grants and awards are not available for summer sessions.
