AI in the Workplace: A Foundations Course (4 Sessions)

Whether you're AI-curious or already experimenting on your own, this four-part live online course will give you a practical, confident foundation in artificial intelligence.

Across four 90-minute synchronous sessions, you'll move from the fundamentals of how AI works, to hands-on prompting techniques, to real-world applications you can put to use immediately, and finally to the ethical questions every AI user should understand. Each session builds on the last, blending clear explanations with interactive, guided practice—no technical background required.

By the end, you'll not only know how to use AI tools effectively, but how to use them thoughtfully.

AI in the Workplace (4 Session Cost: $125)

  • Mondays, October 20–November 10, 6:00 p.m.–7:30 p.m.
  • Tuesdays, October 21–November 11, 5:00 p.m.–6:30 p.m.

Agentic AI: An Introduction to Claude Cowork, ChatGPT Work and Gemini Spark (2 Sessions)

This two-part, hands-on course shows you how to hand off real busywork to AI—and get back finished work, not just words.

In Session 1, you’ll see Claude Cowork tackle practical tasks, from turning invoice PDFs into an organized spreadsheet and cleaning up a budget to creating a slide deck, drafting meeting minutes, building an annotated bibliography, and charting survey data.

In Session 2, you’ll explore OpenAI’s ChatGPT Work and Google’s Gemini Spark through real-world examples, including evaluating vendor proposals and prioritizing a cluttered inbox. You’ll also compare all three tools, learn how each keeps you in control, and consider which one is right for the task at hand.

You’ll leave with practical ways to use AI agents to tackle recurring busywork—and a clear starting point for trying them yourself.

Agentic AI: Claude Cowork, ChatGPT Work and Gemini Spark (2 Session Cost $100)

  • Tuesday. October 27 and Thursday, October 29 12:00 p.m.–1:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, November 12 and Tuesday, November 17, 12:00 p.m.–1:30 p.m.

Google Gemini and Gemini Notebook (2 Sessions)

This two-part (90-minute sessions each) online synchronous hands-on workshop takes participants from their first AI prompt to building real work materials.

In Session 1, participants will explore Google Gemini's three modes—Fast Search for quick answers, Deep Research for multisource cited reports, and Canvas for polishing output into a finished document. In Session 2, participants will turn those materials into a NotebookLM notebook and generate a podcast-style audio overview, a slide outline, an FAQ, a study guide, and a mind map—all grounded strictly in their own sources to reduce the risk of unsupported output.

No AI experience is required, and participants will walk away with practical tools they can use the very next day.

Google Gemini and Gemini Notebook (Two Sessions, $100)

  • Wednesday, November 4 and Friday, November 6, 12:00 p.m.–1:30 p.m.
  • Monday, November 2 and Thursday, November 5, 5:00 p.m.–6:30 p.m.
