On November 22, 2024, the Fall 2024 Pace-Maryland Colloquium was held at the UMD Carey School of Law in Baltimore, Maryland. For the Fall 2024 event, a cohort of Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University Environmental Law students traveled down to Baltimore joining their student colleagues at UMD Law for an entirely student-focused environmental academic event.

The Pace Community's incredible generosity on Giving Tuesday surpassed our goal, resulting in 2,674 gifts and more than $768,822 raised for student success.

Kristina Krichmaryov '26 found her passion with Computational Economics. She highlights the unique community of predominantly female students and the numerous opportunities for intellectual growth and leadership.

The Pace University Federal Reserve Challenge team won the New York Regional College Federal Reserve Challenge competition, and ranked in the top five nationally, competing in the latter with institutions including Harvard University, Princeton University, the University of Miami, the University of Virginia, and the University of Michigan. They also received honorable mention as finalists in the competition.

Pace University’s Seidenberg School recently organized an event which hosted Emilie Nasseh, a prominent New York City-based lawyer specializing in privacy law and compliance, as a guest speaker.

When 3L Janay Russo was exploring colleges, she found herself captivated by a pressing question: Why does such severe inequality persist within the legal system? Her unrelenting curiosity about the foundations of law and the societal and economic biases shaping the criminal justice system, inspired her to pursue an undergraduate degree in Justice Studies and Criminology at James Madison University.

On Sunday November 17th, Haub Law hosted its first-ever LLM Moot Court Competition, offering LLM students from diverse backgrounds the opportunity to argue a First Amendment case in a rigorous, professional setting.

Nurses play a pivotal role in shaping the quality of care patients receive, not only through their day-to-day work, but also by influencing healthcare policies. Pace University's Advocacy Education Day is an event dedicated to empowering nurses to engage in healthcare policy and help them learn how to effectively advocate for both their patients and their profession.

The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University's negotiation teams performed admirably in the Villanova Baseball Filing Day Competition, with one of Pace's teams winning the entire competition.

The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University trial team were declared regular season champions of the National Trial League for the second consecutive year. They look to carry their momentum into the finals in January.
