Pace Path and Employment Readiness

The OASIS program is dedicated to building skills necessary for students’ independence and self-sustenance following graduation. The Pace Path, along with our internship/career model, prepares OASIS students for success.

Pace Path

All Pace students, including OASIS students, benefit from the Pace Path—a unique combination of strong academics, real-world experiences, dedicated mentors, and customized goal setting/four-year planning. Employment Readiness

OASIS has developed an internship/career model for our students with workshops beginning as early as freshman year. Through an internship coordinator, Pace’s Career Services Department, and partnerships with outside agencies, students benefit from:

• Exploration of strengths and interests
• Resume writing
• Participation in mock interviews
• Employment ready workshops
• Exploration of internships that match skills and interests
• Summer internships
