Background Check Process

All candidates for staff and faculty employment are required to successfully complete a background check prior to beginning employment. We have contracted with Sterling Infosystems, Inc., who performs these services on our behalf.

Staff and Faculty new hires cannot begin until the background check process is complete. The new hire will receive an email from with the subject line “Required Information: Consent for Background Check – Pace University." This email will provide details about the required next steps. The questionnaire must be completed in one session and takes about 10 to 20 minutes to complete. To expedite the hiring process, please complete and submit the online form immediately.

If you have any questions regarding the completion of the electronic consent for background check, please contact Talent Acquisition at
