Muzette L. Charles is an engaging and motivated professional, with 15+ years of extensive Project Management experience in the areas of Finance, Marketing, Event Planner, Business Development and Education. She has developed corporate relationships at all levels to be seen as a trusted advisor, establishing a set of cross-functional management and interpersonal leadership skills as a proven financial consultant, public speaker, corporate trainer, sales & marketing exemplified thru expert team building, presentation and listening skills.

As a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Pace University Adjunct Professor, she has leveraged her project manager corporate career experiences to instruct students learn the fundamentals of Project Management Life Cycle and Processes as guided by the Project Management Institute.

As a licensed Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley, Ms. Charles concentrates on assisting her corporate clients navigate the world of financial planning by developing portfolios of suitable investments of Stocks, Bonds and Mutual Funds customized to meet specific Pension, Investment, Retirement and Planning goals. She has customized thousands of financial needs analysis, budgetary reports and investment plans for high-net worth clients managing $10M in assets.

As a Project Manager for Inspired Media, Ms. Charles’ extensive Project Management experience has successfully navigated the full Project Management Life-Cycle of Initiation, Planning, Executing, Monitoring & Control and Closing for projects in the industries of Marketing, Event Planning, Fundraising and Business Development. As a Consultant, she has lead cross-functional teams successfully execute Corporate and Non-Profit Conferences, Forums, Fundraisers, Panels, Tradeshows and Appreciations between both vendors and stakeholders. She has managed venue search, contract negotiations, budget analysis, board presentations, hotel and catering, press releases, social media, print, television and radio advertising.

Formerly managing National Accounts for the United States Postal Service, she coordinated communications with corporate executive stakeholders, traveled to national accounts, participated as a panelist in conferences, forums, town halls and in-house / off-site training on new product strategies to improve customer satisfaction and increase brand awareness.

Ms. Charles enjoys working in the community to educate individuals, business owners and non-profits build, preserve and manage their wealth. She has contributed numerous articles to publications such as; Black Enterprise, AARP, The Positive Community and The Harlem Times.

Ms. Charles has served as a:

  • Board of Director of the National Pension Fund of the Christian Church headquartered in Indianapolis, IN (2003 – 2013)
  • 2nd VP of Finance & Development (2013 – 2017) and member of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women since 2004 – present
  • Appointed as the Financial Manager of the Northeastern District Church of Christ Assembly since 2002
  • NUL Black Executive Educational Program (BEEP) (2003 – 2008)
  • Member of both the NY & NJ Chamber of Commerce’s since 2002
  • Member of the National Association of Female Executives since 2000

Ms. Charles was born in New York, NY. She attended Tufts University and graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University, receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. She resides in New Jersey with her recent college graduate son. They enjoy traveling, bicycling, snorkeling and skiing.
