As the Spring 2024 semester was coming to an end at Pace University, the school’s NYC Design Factory, located at the Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems, hosted a gala event showcasing its student projects.

Five Economics Department faculty and 10 undergraduate and graduate students, all Dyson economics and business economics majors, presented their research papers at the annual Eastern Economic Association (EEA) conference in Boston, one of the major conferences for professional economists on the East Coast of the United States.

Darsh Joshi is a master's student at the Seidenberg School who skillfully engages in his technological passion through leading a multitude of projects involving artificial intelligence, data collection, and being involved with Pace’s very own Data Science club.

Patricia (Tricia) Feighan ‘94 and her daughter, Michelle, a current 2L at Haub Law, have deep family ties to Pace. “My father, Philip B. Blank, was Associate Dean for External Affairs and Professor of Law at what was then known as Pace University School of Law,” said Tricia.

Dr. Carmine Guida, who will be spearheading our new Game Development program, recently held a “playtesting” event for his "CIS 151: Game Development for Everyone" course.

When Justin O’Neill began his college journey, his path forward held many unknowns. Fast-forward to today and he is finishing his third year at Pace University’s Seidenberg School and preparing for a summer internship at a major international company!

Criminal Justice student Lauren Shelton '26, was recently honored for her commitment to non-partisan voter outreach and shares her journey as the student outreach and social media coordinator for the Center for Community Action and Research (CCAR), her passion for civic engagement, her studies in criminal justice, and her aspirations for a career in counter-terrorism.

A dedicated 3L, Madison has always been passionate about becoming an attorney in the field of criminal law. She embarked on her law school journey two weeks following her undergraduate graduation and started as a January admit student at Haub Law in 2023.

Nisha Troupe, Anjienna Lowtan, and Danielle Hanson, students in Pace’s College of Health Professions, have won $15,000 in the Project Planet USA competition for their rainwater filtration system, aiming to tackle global water scarcity sustainably through innovation and partnerships.

Over the course of last week, the Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems’ students presented their student research across two separate events at Pace University.
